So I was sitting on the couch last night trying to modify a theme I want to use and guess what I did? I’ll give you three guesses…
Sorry all your guesses are wrong (unless you actually guess right, obviously)! So, I spilled Kool-Aid (yes, Kool-Aid) all over my laptop. What a waist of perfectly good cherry Kool-Aid. I spilled the whole freaking glass. It went down into my keyboard, into the speaker that is under the screen on the left side of my laptop and out through the fan at the bottom of my laptop meaning it got inside.
At first, I was so shocked and surprised at first that I actually did it. Believe it or not I have never spilled any liquid more then 1 or 2 drops on my computer. It took me about 2-3 minutes to even realize that I got the computer as I also poured half of it in my lap.

I have no idea why these things always happen to me. I priced out a nice laptop on Dell.ca and applied for financing. I have been waiting for over 3 weeks to hear back from them and it is ridiculous! Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, that’s for sure.
First off my current laptop is 5 1/2 years old. I bought it in 2009. I actually love my laptop, it’s a Toshiba Satellite A300-05M and it is pretty nice but it is starting to go on me. The fan quit so it overheats, the keyboard is buckling and little and keys keep coming off, they go back on pretty easy if you do not loose the little inside pieces, however I am tired of putting my computer back together!

Just a short post… I am really looking forward to this Autumn and to the Halloween season. I am looking forward to the cooler weather, sweaters and adventures. I love to hike and walk around in the fall much better then in the summer. I can taste hot chocolate on a cool day already. I just can’t wait. I am ready for summer to be over!

I have decided to share another story of local folklore, I call it folklore loosely because the story itself is true, however if the island really holds treasure is another story.
So you may or may not have heard of the infamous Money Pit on Oak Island that locals and non-locals alike have been trying to excavate for over 200 years, which usually ends in collapse of the Money Pit, flooding and usually death or tragedy. The island itself is a 140 acre island in Lunenburg county just outside of a community called Western Shore in Nova Scotia. It is now the site of a reality TV Show on History called The Curse of Oak Island.

I noticed tonight that it is starting to get dark before 9 PM. Seems like summer is almost over. That brings out mixed emotions in me since I have been pretty much house bound for the last two and a half weeks.
On one hand I am extremely sad that summer is almost over and that I will not get to go swimming at the beach or at a lake again this summer. On the other hand I am excited for fall and ready for the 30° weather to go away. I am sure I will regret that since the winter is supposed to be an especially brutal one. Last winter was bad but this one is supposed to be worse.
