I need a vacation

You would think that after months of off work due to health reasons and only being back about 2 weeks full-time that vacation would be the last thing on my mind… but its not! Everyone at work is going on vacation this month and early next and its made me realize in 16 years of working the only official vacation I took was 2 weeks about 3 years ago!

It’s been a rough couple of weeks but they pretty much have everything sorted out. I do not have [glossary slug=”multiple-sclerosis-ms”]MS[/glossary], which is really good news. The bad news is: I have [glossary slug=”fibromyalgia”]Fibromyalgia[/glossary] and [glossary slug=”diabetes”]Diabetes[/glossary]. Here’s hopin…

My birthday was really great. We did not end up doing anything I had in mind. No Jack Astors and no Putting Edge. Why? I have no idea the day rolled around and I just wasn’t in the mood so I asked Cory if we could go for a drive instead. So we did.

I just felt like driving. Cory was not feeling the greatest and mostly dozed off beside me but I still had a good time. I enjoyed the driving which I have not done in a long time. I also enjoyed the heat and the sun. Then we came home and got an ice cream cake it took us 3 days to eat. READ MORE

I haven’t really had a chance to post anything this last week, with no internet it’s kind of hard to do. The heat is absolutely unbearable the last two days, it was 37 degrees Celsius in my car when I left work today. That’s with a humidity even being considered. It really feels like I’m melting…

Tomorrow is my birthday! I can’t believe it but I’ll be 33 years old. I feel so old. I’m kind of excited as well! I want to Dairy Queen ice cream cake for my birthday. I’m also hoping that will be able to go to Jack Astors for supper and to the Putting Edge glow in the dark mini golf for supper tomorrow. READ MORE
